Painting Badge
Requirements Covered:

1.  Get inspired – Famous Women Artist Game
2.  Paint the real world –  Landscape painted canvas
3.  Paint a mood – Watercolor painting expressing different moods
4.  Paint without brushes – paint dauber canvas purse
5.  Paint a mural – decorate your own folder, add them together to make a mobile mural. Mural will appear in the Gallery of this website.

Cost: $9.00 per girl

Outdoor Art Creator Badge
Requirements Covered:

1. Find art ideas outdoors – binoculars & spot game
2.  Make something – rock painting
3.  Dance or make music outdoors – nature movement game
4.  Be a nature photographer – what do you see activity
5.  Design with nature – landscape painting

Cost: $9.00 per girl

Pottery Badge
Requirements Covered:

1. Find some pottery – pottery exploration
2. Get to know clay – have a potter to your meeting – that is me!
3. Make a simple pot – pinch pot with add on butterflies , flowers, hearts, stars or seasonal items
4. Make an art piece – make coil clay snakes and/or snails
5. Paint and glaze – we will glaze a round or square coaster/tile

Cost: $10.00 per girl if you pick up the finished pieces from South Lyon. $12.00 per girl if I deliver the pieces back to you. If you want to have the girls do the optional potters wheel activity, add $1.00 on to the cost per girl – so – $11 or $13 per girl.

An optional activity for this badge is for me to bring my professional, portable potters wheel and allow the girls to try the wheel. If you choose this option you must have one extra adult minimal dedicated to just help with this option (no experience needed). Also, be aware no pieces created on the wheel are saved – it is just for fun. It is an additional cost of $1 per girl.Please Note: The materials used in this badge are quite heavy, I use a wagon to transport all items, keep that in mind when you schedule where you will hold your lesson. While every effort to insure that clay pieces are returned to you intact, because of the fragile state of clay pieces sometimes pieces fall or break off. Directions are provided to reattach pieces and also finishing techniques are provided for unglazed pieces.
